Meet the Mission Commander Behind Built for More
After 27 years in the United States Air Force, I retired with one question I couldn't ignore:
Why are so many extraordinary veterans settling for ordinary civilian lives?
That question became the Built for More Movement.
My Story
My Story
I didn't create Built for More because I had all the answers. I created it because I kept seeing the same question in the lives of military veterans:
"What's my next mission?"
Throughout my military career, I watched ordinary Americans become extraordinary service members. They developed character, discipline, leadership, and a commitment to something greater than themselves. Then, after leaving military service, too many were encouraged to lower their expectations instead of raising them.
I believe veterans deserve a different message. One that reminds them their military service wasn't the end of their story---it was preparation for the next chapter.
That's why I created Built for More.
Why I'm Leading This Movement
Why I'm Leading This Movement
I served in the United States Air Force for 27 years, beginning my career as an enlisted aircraft mechanic and retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Along the way, I served as a pilot, instructor, operations officer, and squadron commander, completing 13 deployments around the world.
Those experiences taught me something I'll never forget: military service transforms people. It reveals character, develops leaders, and prepares men and women to shoulder extraordinary responsibility.
Built for More is my commitment to ensuring that transformation doesn't end when military service ends. I believe veterans have one more mission to complete---and I'm committed to helping them discover it.
A Personal Invitation
If you've been searching for a mission worthy of the person you've become, I'd like to personally invite you to join us.
Built for More is more than a website. It's a movement of veterans who refuse to believe their greatest contribution is behind them. Together, we're building a community of leaders committed to continuing their service, creating meaningful impact, and helping other veterans discover what's possible.
I'd be honored to have you on the team.
